The Musical Donkey
A donkey named Uddhata and a jackal were best friends. Every night, they would sneak into a farmer's field to eat fresh green cucumbers. One night, the moon was full and beautiful. Uddhata felt so happy that he said, "Friend, the night is lovely! I feel a great song coming on. I must sing!" The jackal was worried. "Wait! We are thieves in this field. Your 'song' is just a loud bray. It will wake the farmer and his dogs." But the donkey was stubborn and thought he was a great singer. "You don't understand art!" he huffed. He lifted his head and let out a loud, thunderous "HEE-HAW! HEE-HAW!" The jackal quickly jumped over the fence and hid. The farmer woke up, ran into the field with a big stick, and gave the donkey a sound beating. The Lesson: There is a right time and place for everything. Doing the wrong thing at the wrong time can lead to trouble
